Walk. Eat. Talk. Eat. And meet new people. On this food walk of East London you’ll get to try traditional British food and taste a mash-up of modern dishes and East End favourites.
There are six food and drink stops on the tour. And as you go, your guide will give you a bit of a history of the area. You’ll visit what was London’s most dangerous slum, see where Jack the Ripper went about his deadly business, hear about Brick Lane’s past and get the stories behind what you eat.
Plus, your guide will point out the best places to shop, drink and generally enjoy yourself. Come hungry and they’ll make sure you leave happy, full and with a few new friends.
Meeting Point: Outside Mason & Taylor on Bethnal Green Road. Look for the triangular metal shed with the large mural on. Your guide will be in front of that.
The price includes all the food at the five food stops and the drinks at a beer and wine tasting stop. You can get tap water at some of the stops, but it's thirsty work all the walking and eating. So it's best to bring a bottle of water with you too.
Please bring along a valid photo ID and the email confirmation.
