With so many eateries in Bangalore devoted to food from Andhra Pradesh, it's easy for good restaurants to get lost in the crowd or for hungry newbies to step foot in the wrong one. Most Bangaloreans would agree, however, that Bheema's deserves everyone's attention. A decades-long favorite with locals because of its awesome roast chicken, tender mutton pepper fry, and coma-inducing biryani, Bheema's is always uncompromising with what comes out of its kitchen.
A wee bit of warning though - Andhra food is spicy, even for heat-seeking Indian palates. So tread carefully but enjoy the burn; few things beat a good sweat at the table! Bheema's location on Church Street makes it easy for Trabblrs to hang out post-meal, too - head over to Amoeba for some bowling or the 13th Floor bar for a drink with a view.
Bheema's is open from 12 to 3:30pm for lunch and from 7pm to 10:30pm for dinner.
