Bangalore has long been considered the bar stool of India (ironic since everything closes at 11:30pm; but remember, this wasn't always the case). While the consumption of beer has always been a cornerstone of the Bangalore experience, production of it has only just recently taken off. Microbreweries are cropping up and adding a welcome, refreshing dimension to the pub culture of Bangalore. Cheers to that!
The Biere Club is located opposite UB City and is a great place to spend a few hours hangin' with buds and drinkin' on suds. Some of their better brews include the wheat (for fans of Hefeweizen and Hoegaarden) and stout (for fans of Guinness). Thankfully The Biere Club has a variety of food ranging from kebabs to pizzas and breakfast food to pastas to soak up that crafty goodness. Climb the stairs to the first floor and you'll enter The Biere Club Chophouse where you can get a meatier, more wholesome selection of steaks and grills. The Club can get a bit busy after work and on weekends so book ahead if you can!
The Club is open for business between 12 to 3pm and then 7 to 11pm everyday of the week.
