Victoria Peak (known locally as "The Peak") offers perhaps the most stunning panorama of Hong Kong. From this perch one can take in the harbor, hills, and high rises that make up the city. Though original residents availed of sedan chairs to get them to the summit, times have thankfully changed and we recommend a ride up on the Peak Tram. The Peak is also home to The Sky Terrace 428, the highest 360-degree viewing terrace in Hong Kong. The Peak Tram Sky Pass gives you access to both the Tram and the Terrace.
When you're done peeking at the city, feel free to take a nature walk to Victoria Peak Garden or an hour-long walk circling The Peak for excellent views of Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the outlying islands. Click here for more trail details.
Meeting point: The Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus. To get here from MTR Central station, make your way to Exit J2 and walk up to the ground level. Turn right, through Chater Garden, cross Queen's Road Central, and make your way up Garden Road. You will pass the Bank of China Tower and Citibank Plaza on your left and St John's Cathedral on your right.
Leaders, please click here for The Peak's opening hours and plan your event accordingly! We highly recommend making it to The Peak for sunset.
