Travel through time with fellow Trabblrs and learn all about Hong Kong through the centuries at the Hong Kong Museum of History! The eight permanent galleries, known as "The Hong Kong Story", are spread across four floors and include: 'The Natural Environment', 'The Opium Wars and the Cession of Hong Kong', 'The Japanese Occupations', and 'Modern Metropolis and the Return of China'. There are also visiting exhibitions routinely passing through, which have included "Chaozhao Food Culture in Hong Kong" and "Hong Kong Currency."
There's lots to see at this museum, so make a plan as a group when you arrive, then happy wandering!
Meeting point: The museum's ticket counter. The Museum is within walking distance of Jordan station (Tsuen Wan Line), Hung Hom station (East Rail Line), and East Tsim Sha Tsui station (East Rail Line).
Leaders, the museum is closed on Tuesdays. On every other day of the week, it's open from 10am to 6pm. Admission is free on Wednesdays!
