Trabblrs who love listening to live indie music are going to fall for L'International, a no-frills performance space that hosts local bands and international musicians who play all genres of music. From folk and pop to rock and electronic, L'International also attracts a different crowd every night making it a super refreshing experience even if you visit multiple times a week. It opened in 2008 with a simple concept that is still going strong - to have eclectic programming, show two or three gigs a night, and offer free entry. Yes, FREE entry! The fact that you can catch live acts without dishing out a single Euro is a big check in our books. Oh yeah, and the beers are cheap.
If the night's band isn't to your liking, head on upstairs where a DJ will be spinning more accessible tunes.
Meeting point: Outside by the entrance. To get here, take the Metro to either Ménilmontant on the M2 Line or Parmentir on the M3 Line.
Leaders, L'International is open on Tuesdays though Sundays from 6pm to 2am with bands that play more danceable music on weekends. Happy hours every day until 9pm.
