If you were to compare Bandra to one of New York's boroughs it would have to be Brooklyn. This cosmopolitan suburb is home to the city's creatives, hipsters, and expats, and has a much stronger community feel compared to the more touristy south Mumbai. Bandra peeps love to party and a great way to experience this suburban renaissance is to spend a night hopping from one bar to the next. Your first stop can be Elbo Room where, as the name suggests, you will be in close quarters with other beer-wielding Bandra-ites.
Next you can walk back towards the KFC, and look out for a sign that says Big Bang. Despite the cheesy name, this rooftop bar is a fun spot for those who want a choice between dancing indoors or conversing at the tables outside. When you're ready for a change of scene, hail a rickshaw and head south to The Daily, a relatively new pub behind Shoppers Stop that has so much good news, it literally dangles from the ceiling. If you want to end your night with a pricey bang, cross the main intersection to Escobar, another rooftop bar. Look for the On Toes neon sign.

Meeting point: Outside the gate of Elbo Room. To get to Elbo Room, the first stop of the crawl, tell your taxi or rickshaw driver to take you to Linking Road in Bandra. Turn into the lane with the huge KFC on the corner and then make the first right on to St. Theresa's Road. Elbo Room will be on your right.
Leaders, bars in Mumbai officially close at 1:30am so plan accordingly!
