It's that time of the year again when the Sewri mudflats transform into a stretch of pink with the presence of thousands of flamingos! Join the BNHS on a trail to learn about these as well as other bird species, including sandpipers and kingfishers. Your leaders will be the very knowledgeable Mr. Asif Khan and Mr. Vinod Patil from BNHS.
If you haven't been to Sewri before to observe Mumbai's lesser-known migrants, then do try to go this year. The eventual construction of the Trans Harbor Link could destroy the birds' natural habitat.
Photographers, be sure to bring a telephoto lens if you have one. Others, a pair of binoculars will bring you up close and personal with your feathered friends.
Price: The BNHS will collect Rs. 150 from each participant on the morning of the event.
Meeting point: Outside Sewri railway station at the railway crossing junction.
