Those of you who as a child "read" books for the illustrations instead of the words aren't going to want to miss this exhibition. The Illustration Cupboard, a unique art gallery that represents the most distinguished contemporary book illustrators from around the world, is hosting its 18th Annual Winter Exhibition. This means that you'll be able to view over 350 original works of classic and modern illustration art from the likes of Maurice Sendak ("Where the Wild Things Are"), E. H. Shepard ("Winnie the Pooh"), and William Heath Robinson for Hans Christian Andersen. Awesome!
This is the last Saturday to check out the collection so do yourself a favor and sign up to spend a weekend afternoon with other literary Trabblrs! By the way, did we mention that it's free?
Meeting point: At the gallery's main entrance.
