Join prolific food blogger Kalyan Karmakar and Kruti Garg on a food crawl that will leave your appetites for food and history satiated! As part of this year's Kala Ghoda Art Festival, your guides will lead a talk-and-walk on the Irani culinary institutions that dot Mumbai's Fort area.
First you will learn about culinary history and its translation into architectural forms and functions along with their influence on changes in city's social fabric. And then it's time to walk and eat.
The talk is from 2:00-3:30pm and the walk is from 3:45pm onward. Please note that although this is a free event, capacity is limited to 50 people and is based on a first-come-first-served basis.
Registrations begin at 1pm at Artisans. After you've registered, feel free to check out the art stalls until the talk starts!
Meeting point: Artisans.
