Hong Kong, Hong Kong Guide by Deep J. Status: Lived here

I stayed in Hongkong for a few months for an Internship , It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life professionally and personally. Of the Great Cities around the world , Hongkong is the most unique city that i have been to , It is an extremely modern city with great infrastructure with very strong cultural heritage. In terms of Art , Cinema , Language , Hongkong is a world of its own. Hong Kong has been the inspiration for a lot of novel's and films as well. Smell of Food and the small alleyway's are what characterizes this beautiful city. It is one of the best cities to work and visit. Besides the top spots mentioned below , Hongkong has many modern attractions like theme parks and some really stellar beaches. To make the trip more interesting one could even take a day trip across the border into the mainland and see the difference between two groups of people with similar cultural history but different political systems. It is also a great example of democracy and freedom of thought.

One can easily get around with English for the most part , . Travelling by the MTR and KCR subway is very convenient, Definitely Recommend the Octopus Card , Its a train pass / Debit Card. Driving there is a nightmare since parking is really expensive , Its best to walk and take the train .
